Our Foundation has long warned that it is self-defeating to fight global jihad in some areas and to pander to its ambitions in others, most notably the Balkans. Are Lord Ashdown’s relentless efforts to abolish the Republika Srpska tantamount to helping Islamism reinforce its Bosnian foothold in the heart of Europe? What would be the security implications of an independent, predominantly Muslim Kosovo? Addressing these and other related questions:
